This is how I would describe the scents: Mother's Love smells like a mix bouquet of flowers; Heavenly Chocolate smells like brownie batter; Summer Breeze is a perfect bath time fragrance-a light & fresh earthy amber scent; Sugar Cookies smells like a sugary vanilla mixture.
Lighting my candle:
After about 9 hours of burn time (over the course of two days in this case), the foil became visible:
After a total of 21 hours of burn time over the course of four days, it was time to reveal my jewelry! (I had to wait until quite a bit of the foil was showing to get it out because it was really stuck in there!)
Kitchen tongs seemed to work better than tweezers.
The jewelry came wrapped in foil & a little ziplock bag.
REVEALED! I got a ring:
It is not real – what a shame because if those were diamonds, it would be worth a pretty penny! If you compare it to a diamond ring, it feels weightless in comparison!

Overall, it was an exciting process. I couldn't wait to start burning the candle once it arrived and I was pretty impatient when it came to getting my jewelry out. After I first saw the foil peeking out after about 9 hours of burn time, I was already trying to pull it out! The scent is wonderful and it really fills the room. Overall, I am happy with the outcome and I can't wait to buy more for friends & family!

ReplyDeleteI have several rings from Jewelry candles __ LOVE ALL of them but really would like to know there value- None have turned colors . Is there a site where people post there rings to compare? Found one for Diamond candles but none for Jewelerycandles? Just wondering!!
ReplyDeleteThere are some on Pinterest. I haven't seen a specific site for comparing Jewelry Candles rings, however, you could post your ring for advice from others on the Jewelry Candles Facebook page. The best thing to do is look to see if there are any markings imprinted on the inside of the ring. If you see something such as 18k, then it is worth getting an estimate from a jeweler. However, if it has no markings or something such as "China" or "Thailand", it is more than likely not worth anything. Hope this helps!
